About
Cam Bruegger
Senior Product Designer working at the seam where design systems meet interaction craft.
I design the system and the moment it creates.
I'm a product designer with eight years spent on the parts of software people actually touch — and the structure underneath that keeps them coherent.
Most of my career has lived in a productive tension: the rigor of design systems on one side, the craft of a single, well-made interaction on the other. I've never believed you have to choose. A token and the button it styles are the same decision at two altitudes — get both right and the whole product feels considered.
Today I'm a Senior Product Designer at Bloomerang, the giving platform built for nonprofits. I work across complex, multi-product surfaces — automation, platform settings, integrations — often embedded with several engineering teams at once, translating knotty technical models into something a ten-person nonprofit can run without a marketing-ops background. People come before process, always.

Beyond the screen
I'm based in Denver, Colorado — which means the best part of most weeks happens outside.
You'll usually find me on the water or in the mountains with my dog riding shotgun. It's the same instinct that pulls me to design: find a good system, keep the gear simple, and pay attention to the small things that make a long day feel effortless.
